This is the second time this year that Taizé music is coming to St Anne's.
The chants are slow, meditative, repetitive and a wonderful way to pray. Come and see!

Registration for the 2017-2018 Religious Education Classes will open in late July, early August.
Please refer to this section and the parish bulletin as we get closer to that time of the year.
If you are new to Hong Kong or to St. Anne's, please be sure to register as a parishioner in the church office.
The students of the First Holy Communion class sponsored the March 12 Mass and participated in their Rite of Enrollment.
They will be welcomed to the Lord's table on May 20th, 2017.
If you are thinking of making sacrificial almsgiving a part of your Lenten practices this year, St. Anne's will again be collecting for direct assistance to Middle-Eastern Christians as almost all of them struggle to remain in the Middle-East; many of them waiting in refugee camps for repatriation back to their home countries, while a smaller number build new lives as immigrants.
There will be a special box for alms for this purpose at the back of the church after each of the weekend masses throughout Lent.
Confessions will be heard throughout Lent on Saturday afternoons at 5pm.
Appointments can be made for other times until Wednesday of Holy Week.
Stations of the Cross will be prayed in English on Wednesday evenings during Lent at 8:00 pm.
The Stations will be followed by a communion service, and opportunities for confessions.
The next Hospitality table will be on Sunday, 19 March sponsored by CCD Class Grade 5 (Teachers: Mrs. Nicholls & Mrs. Brewster). Parents of this class please refer to online sign up for more information.

Why you might consider The Anawim Way to deepen your prayer life this Lent:
1. "What was that all about?" If you've ever asked yourself this question by the end of the Gospel reading at Mass (or wondered if there was even a link between the readings), The Anawim Way can lead you to a clearer, more personal understanding of the daily Mass readings.
2. In the reflections both simple and powerful, hear God's message FOR YOU each day. (Happy warning: It can get quite personal!)
3. For the price of a cup of coffee that may tide you over for 4 hours, the Anawim Way will keep you nourished for 40 days!
Limited copies are now available at the church office. For further information, please contact Gigi Tse at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.(9318-8212).

Dear Lectors,
Please find attached the reading schedule for March. If you are unable to make your assigned time, please ask for someone to replace you in good time.
Visitors from other parishes have remarked that our readings are loud and clear. Its always good to hear we are taking our ministry seriously, and get complimented on it. Keep up the good work!

The Season of Lent will soon be upon us, beginning on Ash Wednesday, March 1st.
Lent is a time of special prayer, fasting and sacrificial almsgiving. This applies both communally and privately, and in appropriate ways from the young to those advanced in age.
Ash Wednesday is a day of Fast and of Abstinence; abstinence from the consumption of meat, and fasting in the amount of our food intake on that day.
There will be two English language masses for Ash Wednesday. Ashes will be distributed at both masses. The first mass will take place at the Carmelite Sisters at 7:15 AM. The second mass will take place at the parish church at 8:00 PM.
Also during Lent, the Stations of the Cross will be prayed on the following Wednesday evenings at 8 pm, followed by a communion service: March 8, 15, 22, 29 and April 5 and 12.
Our thanks to the CCD Grade 3 class (Teacher Mrs De Leon) for sponsoring the snacks for the Hospitality table this Sunday.
The next Hospitality table will be a mini offering on Sunday 26 February in honor of Scout Sunday hosted by the USA Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts of America and Cub Scouts of St. Anne's parish.
