This weekend, January 18th and 19th, twenty-two of our young people are on retreat in preparation for receiving the sacrament of Confirmation. 

Please pray for an outpouring of grace and Spirit upon them, their parents and the retreat leaders.

Four of our confirmation students and some of their parents volunteered at Food Angel this week helping preparing and packaging boxed meals for the needy.

Please continue to pray for these young people as they set forth on this important journey of faith.

This Friday, January 3rd, is the First Friday of the month.  A Mass in honor of the Sacred Heart will be celebrated in the parish hall at 7:30PM.

St. Anne's Hospitality Table resumes Sunday, January 12th, kindly sponsored by the First Holy Community CCD Class 1B.

A Maryknoll Missioner who has been Hong Kong for 50 years has written a book highlighting his experiences, in vignette form, of his past 5 decades in this city.  

The book is for sale at the back of the church for HKD $20; honor system.  Enjoy a few laughs and some points to ponder.

Please support a bake sale this Sunday, December 15^th, after the 8:45 am Mass, conducted by the Confirmation Class students.  Baked goods are from students and parishioners, and all proceeds will help support various community organizations.  

This Thursday, December 12^th, there will be a Reconciliation Service at 7:30pm in the Parish Church. The Service will consist of period of prayer, scripture readings, a short meditation and a closing blessing. After the Service concludes, there will be 5 priests available to hear individual confessions.

Availing yourself of the Sacrament of Reconciliation is an excellent way of preparing yourself for Christmas and starting the New Year.

There will be no Hospitality Table this Sunday as St Anne's gathers at the Fr. Elmer BBQ. 

Next Sunday, December 15^th, in lieu of a Hospitality Table, please support the Confirmation CCD Class Bake Sale.

This week, whilst we say farewell to our parish administrative assistant, Ms. Lisa Wong who will be leaving Hong Kong for an indefinite period owing to personal issues, we welcome her successor, Ms. Jacqueline Wu. 

Jacqueline is like mission control. She keeps the priests' schedules and makes appointments for them.  She is also responsible for the booking of parish facilities, issuing parish certificates and keeping the parish accounts. 

Please join us in welcoming Jacqueline.

This Friday, December 6th, is First Friday.  There will be a votive mass for the Sacred Heart at 19:30 in the Parish Hall.

Tickets are on sale! Donations and volunteers are still welcome.

We particularly need adult volunteers for Grilling and for the Entrance Gate.
